I’m Renée Turner, an East Lothian–based interior designer with a background that might surprise you. Before founding Renée Turner Interiors, I worked in economics for an oil and gas consultancy. It was during the renovation of my own home that I realised I had an eye for layouts, colour and detail and I fell completely in love with the design process. That experience gave me the confidence to retrain, study interior design and turn a long-time passion into my career.

Today, I create bespoke interiors for clients across Edinburgh, the Lothians and beyond, from stylish Airbnbs and boutique guest houses to family homes and full renovations. I believe the best design always begins with listening. My role is to interpret your style, make the process clear and enjoyable, and deliver a home that feels both beautiful and practical. With 3D visualisations, moodboards, and a trusted network of trades, I make the design journey stress-free, guiding every detail with creativity and precision. This is why I am now a multi-award winning interior designer.

I live in East Lothian with my husband and our two boys, and when I’m not designing, you’ll find me enjoying music, cycling, or keeping fit. Family life keeps me grounded and inspires much of the work I do. I know how important it is to create spaces that not only look amazing but also support the way you live. For me, interiors should always be personal, uplifting, and a joy to spend time in.
