Bespoke Interior Design - FAQs (Including Kitchens, Bathrooms and Bespoke Furniture)

  • The earlier, the better. Getting me involved at the start, before you finalise plans with builders or architects — helps ensure your design vision flows through the whole project. It also avoids costly mistakes later, and makes the process feel seamless from day one.

  • Every project is a journey we take together. I start by understanding your lifestyle, taste, and goals. From there, we move through moodboards, layout plans, 3D visuals, and sourcing the right furniture and finishes. If you’d like, I can also manage trades and oversee installation so that the entire process feels smooth and enjoyable.

  • Yes. I believe great design is possible at different levels. Whether you’re looking for a simple room update, a Moodboard by Mail, or a full renovation, I tailor recommendations to suit your budget. I’ll always be transparent, and you’ll know exactly where your money is going.

  • Absolutely. Many of my clients don’t have the time — or the desire — to deal with contractors, deliveries, and schedules. I coordinate trusted trades, manage timelines, and keep everything on track so you don’t have to. You get to enjoy the results without the stress.

  • That’s entirely up to you. Some clients want to be part of every decision, while others prefer to hand over the reins and just see the finished result. I offer everything from hourly consultations to fully bespoke services, so we’ll work in the way that feels right for you.

  • It really depends on the scope. A single-room refresh might take a few weeks, while a full-home transformation can run over several months. On average, design development takes around 6–8 weeks, with installation timelines depending on contractors, custom items, and sourcing. I’ll always give you a clear idea of timings at the beginning so you know what to expect.

  • Absolutely.  Many clients start here and then move into a bespoke design project if they want me to take a project further or feel they need more of my help.

Moodboards by Mail – FAQs

  • You choose a ready-made moodboard from my collection that you connect with. I then post the physical board straight to you, complete with samples and suggestions for how to bring it into your home.

  • Each board includes fabric and wallpaper samples, paint swatches, and a printed guide with styling tips so you can recreate the look in your own space.

  • Not at all. You can pick and choose the elements you love. The guide gives you flexibility to use as much or as little as you’d like.

  • Yes you’ll have the option to purchase the exact fabrics, wallpapers and paints directly through me, often at a better price than the retail price.
